I am a qualified Transport Manager in Passenger and Haulage Transport; communicate in three languages and have a degree in Leadership and Management.

JMJ Transport Consultancy Ltd specialises in all aspects of business within the transport industry. I have gained in depth knowledge and experience helping other businesses through difficult times such as preparing for public inquiries, on the job training for transport managers including OLAC courses; helping new transport managers to qualify on a one to one basis; Driver CPC courses and so on.

Before staring my own transport Company in 2004, I was in Corporate Banking for 16 years with a portfolio of a 100 customers of various industries so I have a view of business from a financial as well as a practical angle.

I started a taxi company which grew from one people carrier to where I am today with 20 vehicles ranging from cars up to a 53 seater coach. I have 16 employees and gained Investors In People. I now have an excellent management team in place which allows me the time to share my knowledge and experience with other like-minded people.

I set up JMJ Consultancy Ltd as I have discovered through banking and business that no matter what industry we are in; we all encounter similar issues on a day to day basis. An external view point and help can be the answer to a Company’s problems allowing the key people to concentrate on the day to day running of their business rather than becoming bogged down with red tape and compliance; simple systems being put in place can be a huge benefit.

My manner is friendly and approachable which helps form relationships of trust and honesty. I am happy to travel to clients premises and my first visit is normally free of charge (except for travel expenses) because I don’t believe in hard sell; I myself am a business woman and hate people offering me services I don’t want or need. Then my fee begins at £250 a day (plus travel expenses).
